How to access your Blackboard modules…and what to do if you can’t
Access to your Blackboard modules should happen automatically within 24 hours of completing your enrolment and module selection in SOLE. However, you might go to Blackboard to find your modules are not there, or that you can’t even log in. Here are some things to check that should solve the problem.
- Have you completed enrolment (Year 1)?
Check on SOLE – your status in SOLE will be Provisional until you finish enrolling, can see your Certificate of Registration, and have received your confirmation email. When your status changes to Current a Blackboard account is created for you and your modules will be transferred across.
- Have you selected your modules?
At the beginning of each academic year you need to select the modules that you will take in SOLE. If you have registered and not been asked to select modules, please contact Student Records on studentrecords@worc.ac.uk or 01905 855333 to resolve this.
- When do the modules start?
Only modules that begin in the current semester are displayed. This means that students who start in September, will not see modules that begin in Semester 2 on Blackboard. They will be added near the end of Semester 1.
- When did you enrol?
If you have only just completed your enrolments it can take a few hours for your modules to be available, but they will appear within 24 hours.
