What is Digital Accessibility Week?
Digital Accessibility Week is a chance for our university community to make learning and teaching more inclusive for everyone. Whether you’re new to accessibility or looking to build on existing skills, there are plenty of ways to get involved and make a real impact.
This year we’re running practical workshops, informal drop-in sessions, and a university-wide challenge to improve the accessibility of 500 documents across our systems.

Blackboard documents this week!
During the week, courses across the university are encouraged to improve the accessibility of documents within Blackboard using Ally guidance and feedback. This could include fixing issues such as missing headings, alternative text, or document structure.
Our aim is to improve at least 500 documents and make a real difference to student access.
