Due to the Covid-19 crisis, it has become necessary for many courses to adapt their methods of assessment. Below you will find guidance on managing assessment by presentation and examination online.

Student Presentations

Adapting student presentations for online assessment is a challenge many academics are facing at the moment.

A workshop and discussion was held on 27th April to address some of these issues and the recording can be found here:

The slides are also available.

We have also produced some short animations simulating how your students can share their screen and how you can promote students to the role of presenter. Please feel free to download and use these if they would be helpful.

Online Examinations

Delivering examinations remotely is a challenge and the University have put much thought into how this can be achieved online.
Detailed technical guidance on how to set up and deliver your exam through Blackboard can be found here https://lttu.uk/support/Exams/ . Two workshops will be held on Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th May between 2 and 3pm to guide you through the process and answer any questions you might have. You can sign up for these on the staff development booking page.
